PREPARATION OF HERBS DECOCTION
“For each single use, take a heaped tablespoon of the appropriate herbal mixture, pour a glass of boiling water over it, cover it for three hours. Then strain, heat slightly and drink a glass three times a day before meals. Only drink herbs for laxation once a day, after a light meal. Herbs, apart from bark and roots, must not be cooked, because by cooking they reduce their healing power by losing vitamin C, essential oils and other necessary substances. Herbs should be brewed fresh each time, they must not be sweetened or drunk in a sip, but slowly, calmly, with faith in their effectiveness. During herbal treatment, worseness and even pain can often occur on the fourth or fifth day. There is no need to be afraid of this and do not stop the treatment, because it is a reaction indicating that something is happening in our body, the treatment is progressing properly, and in a few days the pain will disappear forever. In the treatment of kidney stones, pain may occur after two weeks, this is a sign that the stone has not crumbled into sand, but is riddled with holes and is sliding down the duct towards the bladder. Then limit drinking herbs to half a glass only twice a day. Finally, you need to remember how long you can drink herbs.
Well, after drinking the entire set of herbs, you need to take a break for 7 days and start drinking the same set, after finishing the second set, stop for 12 days and drink the third one as a preventive dose.
Preparation of a mixture and decoction of herbs according to the book: “Let’s get back to herbs”, author: Father Andrzej Czesław Klimuszko
