A METHOD OF PREPARING:
Fruit infusion: pour 1 tablespoon of dried crushed fruit with 200 ml of boiling water, wait until it cools down, strain and drink 1/2-1/3 cup 2-3 times a day.
Hawthorn tincture – to prepare it, we need about 0.5 kg of hawthorn fruit, which we place in a tall vessel. Then pour a mixture of 0.5 liters of spirit and 0.5 cups of water. Cover the vessel thoroughly and leave for two weeks. After this time, pour off the alcohol and, in a separate pot, boil about 500 ml of water with a tablespoon of sugar, a few cloves, cinnamon and grated lemon or orange peel. When foam forms on the surface, we collect it and add the previously obtained hawthorn alcohol to the liquid. Pour everything back into a tall container and cover, then set aside for 3 days. After this time, the tincture is ready for consumption.
Hawthorn can also be eaten in the form of jam or jam.
