Wild rose is a common species of shrub from the rose family. It grows wild in the northern hemisphere in the temperate and warm zone. It has also spread to Australia and New Zealand.Rose has been used in Poland since the Middle Ages. In the form of infusions, it was used for colds and diseases with high fever, as well as for liver ailments and diarrhea. It was also believed to have cooling and drying properties, so wild rose compresses were used for difficult-to-heal, purulent wounds, ulcers and burns.Rosehip powder is pure rosehip peel ground into a coarse powder that is taken with a spoon. The powder is very tasty, sour and, most importantly, it is a pure and natural form of vitamins and minerals.

Wild rose powder – according to the literature, powdered wild rose has properties that were used to alleviate the following ailments:

  • helps in the proper production of collagen to ensure the proper functioning of blood vessels, gums, skin and teeth,
  • helps in the proper functioning of the nervous system,
  • helps in the proper functioning of the immune system,
  • helps protect cells against oxidative stress (helps fight free radicals),
