Linden (Tilla) – occurs almost throughout Europe, as well as in other regions of the world (e.g. Caucasus, Asia Minor). It prefers to grow in places with lower sunlight. The harvest usually takes place in June and July, the collected flowers and leaves are dried in a ventilated place at a temperature not exceeding 40 C.
Linden flowers contain: flavonoids, essential oils, vitamin C, mucous compounds, amino acids, organic acids (malic, glutamic, tartaric).
Properties: Lime was known already in ancient times, its benefits were used by Greek and Roman doctors. Linden flowers have diaphoretic, antipyretic, sedative, antispasmodic and choleretic properties, and also have a beneficial effect on metabolism. Therefore, it is worth using the infusion of this plant for colds, flu, respiratory tract infections, pharyngitis or bronchitis. Moreover, it may be helpful in states of fatigue, excessive nervous excitability, dizziness and neuralgia.

Pour 200/250 ml of water at 95 C over 1 full spoon of dried herb and brew covered for about 15 minutes. Then separate the infusion from the leaves and drink 2-4 times a day, preferably between meals. The infusion can also be used externally: for gargling, for toothache, neuralgia or even burns.
