Chokeberry – according to the literature, chokeberry fruit has properties that were used to alleviate the following ailments:
- is used by people with high blood pressure, effectively lowering it, among other things, by removing cholesterol deposits from the veins,
- the content of anthocyanins, thanks to which chokeberries have a dark, almost black color, gives these fruits an antioxidant effect. It is used not only to slow down the aging process, but also to treat cancer and circulation problems,
- strengthening blood vessels and preventing, among others: varicose veins and bursting of capillaries,
- reducing the effects of all types of radiation (e.g. from TV or computer),
- strengthening resistance to UV radiation,
- alleviating liver and pancreas ailments,
- reducing side effects of drugs used to treat cancer, cleansing the body of harmful toxins and reducing unnecessary nervous tension,
- it is also a valuable source of vitamins A, C, E, PP and B vitamins. It also contains a lot of carbohydrates, organic acids and microelements.
By origin, chokeberry is quite closely related to both mountain ash and apple and pear trees, because it belongs to the same family (rosaceae) and subfamily (apple trees). In Poland, mainly black chokeberry, also called dark fruit chokeberry, or simply black chokeberry, is bred.
A METHOD OF PREPARING:
Dried chokeberry tea: simply pour boiling water over chokeberry and steep for a few minutes
Dried chokeberry is perfect for various types of liqueurs and winter wines.

How to store herbs:
Store in a dry place, out of the reach of children, in a tightly closed original packaging, away from sunlight.
